LEX MCARTHUR (production assistant) is 22 years old and a Super-Senior (5th year) at Clemson University (it’s in South Carolina) studying Mechanical Engineering. His childhood from age one to fifteen was spent outside of Atlanta in Marietta, GA. This summer is a transition into the “Real World” as this will be the last extensive period of vacation during his youth. He am residing three blocks from the ocean in Hermosa Beach, rent free, because his college friend is so gracious. The situation is ideal and Lex fully appreciates the amazing opportunity. This experience is also serving as a reconnaissance mission to size up the lifestyle of LA in anticipation of a job offer in the area. He wanted to meet the people of the area and thought one way to get out and meet the most people was to get involved with short film gigs. The set of "Sin & Lyle" set the bar very high with the level of sincerity, professional attitudes, and shear enjoyment. Subsequent projects have included two spec spot commercials with Apache Productions, a music video, an independent short, and a feature independent film entitled “Loveless in Los Angeles.” In addition, from the contacts made through "Sin & Lyle", Lex will be involved with a Big Hit Productions film called “Sex, Love, and Z-Parts.” Though his final school year commences on August 24, he will be sucking the last drop out of the summer with an appearance on MTV’s new reality show “Parental Control” (hopefully) taking a girl out on a date. So maybe Lex won’t be a Mechanical Engineer after all……we shall see.
