GEORGE P. WHITMAN, IV (1 st Assistant Director) earned a Certificate in Digital Filmmaking at the Zaki Gordon Institute in Arizona, after first receiving a degree in Anthropology. He already has numerous production credits under his belt after only two years in the entertainment industry, as an assistant director, production coordinator and art director. Past film credits include “American Gun,” “SWIK” and “Wassup Rockers.” He consistently works in the art department for Mindring Entertainment’s TV series “The Surreal Life.” Recently he has been involved in productions of MTV’s “Yo Momma,” NBC’s “The West Wing,” and Comedy Central’s “Comedians of Comedy Tour.” He is also a writer and was awarded the Zaki Gordon Award for Excellence in Screenwriting in 2003. George currently resides in Los Angeles where he continues to work regularly on various film and television productions.
